The Designer, Kaori, cleverly combines retro, vintage and ultra modern fabrics together to create her unique , eclectic , exotic collections. "Peggy" as a Children's Label, puts fun and adventure back into clothing, as well as reviving classic era's. The bright colours, patterns and textures, instantly ignite children's fantasies. Most Children just have to try the clothing on. Kids can be fussy, particular dressers, this is a label that seldom fails to impress even the fussiest. Wearing "Peggy" is like - playing dress-ups. A Label to encourage your child's fantasy world and individuality. SIZING "Peggy" as a Japanese Label has different sizing structure. AGES 6 MNTHS - 12 MNTHS WEAR SIZE 1 AGES 1 AND 2 WEAR SIZE 3 AGES 3 AND 4 WEAR SIZE 5 AGES 5, 6 AND SMALLER AGE 7 WEAR SIZE 7. Why did I start Peggy? Well, six years ago on Christmas Day, I gave birth to a baby girl while overseas. Searching for clothes goes hand-in-hand with the development of a child. Outside of Japan, in every shop, children's clothes are limited to pink, white and blue for boys. I couldnt find the clothing I was looking for. I felt a heavy culture shock. However I thought, like me, there must be parents in every country that are thinking, I want cute clothes for my kid's, I want cool clothes for my kid's. In Japan, there are countless kid's brands, larger shops and retailers that specialise in kid's clothing, and the designs are unlimited. Parents can really have fun while searching for clothes that really suit their children. For the child, clothes are simply something that the parent chooses for them, but I think there are many factors associated. Colour, touch, and texture: things that are sensed the instant the clothes are tried on. As you hug your child and tell them how cute and lovely they look, they smile happily. Then they always run to the mirror to look at themselves. I wish to hold that feeling special and continue to make Peggy.
